During 2021, the MFAWT made several donations in support of animal welfare in Portage County. 

Recipients were the Portage Animal Protective League, Portage County Dog Warden, Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary, and Rose's Rescue.

When we learned of a horse that had been rescued by Happy Trails that needed surgery, we made a donation to help cover the costs of the medical treatment.  The horse, Audrey, has recovered nicely and has been adopted. Shown is Andrew Madonio with a check for Hope Evans of Happy Trails.
