A huge thank you to all of you who made Dog Days of Summer 2026 a smashing success. Whether you are a sponsor, a donor, a vendor, a volunteer, a visitor, or a dog we are grateful for all of you.

Each year we seem to top the success of the year before. Thanks for continuing to help us support area animal groups (including Portage APL, Rose’s Rescue, People Care Pet Pantry, Portage County Dog Warden, Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary and Tree City Cats), the Doggie Bags pet food program in conjunction with Axess Family Services, as well as other animal health and welfare causes.

Shout out to our amazing event sponsors (see page here!) and all those who sponsored a pup in the Buddy Sessions Top Dog contest (see page here!). Huge congrats to Evelyn Dickerson Hair Design and our winner ANDY!!! We appreciate North Water Brewing allowing the winning pup to have a one-month beer name takeover and look forward to sharing that information and inviting everyone to a party on the patio to celebrate the launch. Last but certainly not least, endless thanks to the Portage Foundation for being with us every step of the way on this event this year. We can do what we do only because they are behind us doing what they do.
